Football

Football

The NFC East is undoubtebly the most contested division in the NFL. The Cowboys are out of the competition, (of course, since they're the Cowboys! HA HA HA HA etc.) the Giants are leading, and the Redskins and Eagles are in between. All of the last three teams have a realistic chance of winning. I personally think the Eagles are going to win for three reasons. One, they had the first tie since 2002, which is cool. Two, Eagles are the national birds. What animal represents the U.S.? Eagles, of course. And finally, I am a biased Eagles fan. Go Eagles!

Luck

Luck

Since 13 is and unlucky number, I will be finding out different things that are thought to be unlucky (or lucky) for this blog insert. Ok, here we go:

  • Placing a bed facing north and south is bad luck
  • If you say goodbye to a friend on a bridge, you will never see him/her again
  • 13 is an unlucky number (of course!)
  • It is good luck to find a cricket in your house
  • It is bad luck to close a pocket knife unless you were the one who opened it
  • To dream of a lizard is a sign that you have a secret enemy

These superstitions were found at www.corsinet.com/trivia/scary.html.

The Election

The Election

So, the election went pretty well. Does anyone know who won? Oh, I remember now: OBAMA! OBAMA! OBAMA! That's about all I need to say, but I have to write two paragraphs on this stuff. Now I will continue.
Obama crushed McCain in pratically every state that he had a chance of winning, and even in the states that McCain was going to win, he narrowly beat Obama. McCain had no chance of winning from the beginning.
