Recruiting for the Army
Not many people would sign up for the army. I'm not saying that working in the Army is a bad job. They've done great things for our country, and we appreciate it. However, to me it seems like it's not the best job in the world. It takes a lot of guts to shoot another man, and not many people could do it. Apparently the Army knew this too. They had to figure out a way the draw young men and women to this career. But how? Eventually, they figured out a way to reach stubborn teenagers: video games. Makes sense, right? The Army created a place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called the Army Experience Center. The Army Experience Center is a state-of-the-art facility, the only one of its kind, that allows teens to play virtual combat games. It has attracted youths as young as 13 to come and visit. The cool thing about the whole thing is that it gets younger citizens to start thinking about joining the Army. Whether this experiment ends up being successful or not, it is certainly an eye-catcher for the people who walk by it.

That's a cool way to get people to get in to the army. But even thought there wasn't that program I'd still join.
That is really interesting! It seems like a creative way to encourage easily malleable kids to join the army.
